LOCATION: PHOENIX, AZ

ASEI Engineering is currently seeking an Electrical Designer to join our talented team in Phoenix, AZ. This position will perform electrical design services for a wide variety of projects including but not limited to commercial, institutional, and light industrial projects.

Duties:

• Create Electrical Designs in AutoCAD and/or Revit software
• Work directly with clients to determine overall project needs and design, while utilizing in-house Professional Engineer for support and quality control
• Effectively manage electrical design projects through clear, consistent communication to meet client needs, project schedules, and budget expectations
• Build long-term customer relationships with existing and potential clients through world-class customer service
• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and flexibility by supporting your peers as needed and participating in company-sponsored training and events

Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge AutoCAD, and understanding of Electrical Design
• Excellent working knowledge of electrical design in the realm of commercial, institutional and light industrial
• Experience with Visual lighting software or related software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines
• Self-motivated, reliable individual that thrives on doing a job well
• Demonstrate independence, initiative, and desire to achieve results while living out the values of ASEI Engineering- Quality / Accuracy / Integrity / Flexibility
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining long-term client relationships
• Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral and written communications

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years experience in electrical design/drafting required
• Fully proficient in AutoCAD 2014 or higher required
• Experience with REVIT is a plus
• Experience with Visual lighting software or related software
• Experience with MS Office products
• AA in Computer Aided Drafting, or BS in Engineering preferred
• Coursework or formal training in AutoCAD/REVIT design software preferred
